Honoring Native American Veterans

For many generations, Native Americans have had the highest rate of military service of any ethnic group in the country. Native American Veterans go above and beyond in serving their country. The patriotism of Native Americans and respect shown to Native American Veterans rivals that of any other American cultural group. Despite the oppression experienced by Native Americans, the desire to serve the United States as honored warriors remains a part of the culture.
